Kensington, NH — Peter E. Lenane, age 61, of Kensington, N.H., passed away peacefully Thursday morning, August 22, 2013, at Crochet Mountain Residential Services in Salem, N.H., surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Amesbury, July 6, 1952, he was one of three children of the late Edward and Veronica (Eustick) Lenane and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School in Haverhill.
For many years, Peter had worked as an auto body tech for DeLong’s Auto Body in Amesbury. He loved to hunt, camp, and fish with his family and friends and enjoyed spending his time at the family camps in Jackson and Pittsburg, N.H. He was a bit of a hot head, but his love for family was unconditional. He will be missed.
In addition to his wife, Cathy I. (Fowler) Lenane, he is survived by his son, Peter V. Lenane of Kensington; his brother, Edward J. Lenane and wife, Deborah, of Newton, N.H.; his sister, Patricia Lenane of Fryeburg, Maine; and his two nephews, John and Joseph Lenane of Newton, N.H.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours at the Highland Street Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury, will be Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. Interment will be private for the family.
