Newbury, MA — Beatrice A. Tetreault passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning at Seaview Retreat in Rowley, Mass. She was born in Amesbury, Mass., and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Florida (Hamel) Pelletier. She was the wife of 62 years to Edgar L. Tetreault.
She grew up and attended schools in Amesbury and worked for a short time at Hytron in Newburyport. She went on to work many years in shipping and receiving at the Transeen Co. of Rowley until her retirement. She enjoyed her retirement years in her winter home in Florida and summers locally in her swimming pool. She was a loving wife, mother, grand and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by all of them. The family would like to give their thanks and love to all the staff members at Seaview Retreat and North Shore Hospice for their kindness, care, and love they gave in caring for Beatrice.
Besides her husband, Edgar, she is survived by one daughter, Donna Eaton and husband, Edward, of Salisbury; two sons, Ricky Tetreault and wife, Joleen, of Newbury, Mass., and David Tetreault and wife, Dianne, of Haverhill, Mass.; 4 brothers, Roland Pelletier and wife, Nancy, Dennis Pelletier and wife, Gay, Wallace Pelletier and wife, Paula, and Alphonse Pelletier; 4 sisters, Florence Chabo and husband, Bob, Rita Davis, Simone Bashaw and husband, Tom, and Evelyn Plourde; her sister-in-law, Louise Pelletier; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Wilfred Pelletier; 2 late sisters-in-law, Jackie Pelletier and Pat Pelletier; and two late brothers-in-law, Bill Davis and James Plourde.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., in Amesbury are Sunday, August 25, from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by a family reflection at 3 p.m. Burial will be at a later time.
