Salisbury, MA — Richard Wiggins, of Beach Road, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at the Country Center for Health and Rehab. Born in Brockton, Mass., he was the son of Phyllis (Parry) Wiggins of Newburyport and the late Chester Wiggins.
He worked many years in the area as a self-employed locksmith. He was known to be a loyal father, son, brother, cousin, friend, and the "best grandfather and uncle." He was so loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his children, daughters Debra Scheyer of Lincoln, N.H., Sandra Tirone and husband Tony of Seabrook, N.H., and Catherine Wiggins also of Seabrook; one son, Richard W. Wiggins of Hampton, N.H.; one brother, William Wiggins of Acton, Mass.; his 5 grandchildren, Ryan Scheyer, Mandi DesRoches, Samantha Bradley, Darrius Wiggins, and Anthony Tirone; his great-grandchild Jacob Rowe; his former wife and friend, Mary (Hull) Maher; his special friends, Harold Conden and Tommy Boyd; and his many friends from the "Clubhouse" in Salisbury where he spent much time.
ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013, starting at 1 p.m. at the American Legion Post #70, in the upstairs hall, at 169 Walton Road, in Seabrook, N.H. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements are by the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home in Amesbury.
