Avalanna Routh, 6

Merrimac — Avalanna Routh, six year old angel of Cameron and Aileen (Roberts) Routh of Merrimac, went home to Heaven early Wednesday morning after a valiant battle with cancer.

Avalanna, the brightest star, the bravest little girl filled her six years with the purest of love and adventure.

"I will take her laughter and her tears

and make them all my souvenirs

for where she goes I’ve got to be

the meaning of my life is she."

She leaves behind her parents, Cameron and Aileen; maternal grandparents, Pauline and T. J. Roberts; paternal grandparents, Skip and Carroll Routh; aunts and uncles, Margaret and Diarmuid Leen; Rory and Evelyn Roberts; Louise and Damien Veldon; Penelope and Robert Doolittle; Duncan and Camberly Routh, many cousins and her loving, best friend, her “sissy” dog, Charlotte.

"There is no foot too small that it cannot make an imprint on this world."

ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial mass will be held Saturday, September 29, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 42 Green Street, Newburyport. Private interment to follow. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 36 West Main Street, Merrimac.
