Judith I. (Batchelder) Goldthwaite, 66

Seabrook, NH — Judith I. (Batchelder) Goldthwaite, age 66, longtime Seabrook resident, died peacefully at home

Born in Newburyport, January 5, 1946 and raised in Newbury, she was one of seven children of Gwendolyn (Henry) Batchelder of Newbury and the late Donald Batchelder and was a graduate of Essex Agricultural School.

Judy had many joys in life. She was married to her wonderful husband, James, for 43 years this coming November 26th. Together they raised a son, Jay, who was the light of her life. In addition, Jay and his fiancee Mary gave her the greatest gift of a grandson, Lucas. Judy enjoyed her volunteer work with the Seventh Day Adventist Church, singing, and playing piano. She also had many friends she enjoyed spending time with.

In addition to her devoted husband, loving mother, dedicated son and beloved grandson, she is survived by her siblings, Donna and Allen Gates of Newburyport; Cheryl and Walter Fowler of Epping, NH; Janice and Arthur Vigneault of Merrimac; Candace and William Hinton of Sandown, NH; Kevin and Pamela Batchelder of Clifton, Maine, and Bonnie Batchelder of Newbury. Judy loved and was loved by all of her extended family.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, will be Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 10 to 11:45 A.M. immediately followed by funeral services at 12 noon, with interment in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Road, Suite 1000, Silver Spring, MD 20910 or the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Avenue, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923

Her most recent employment was with her dear friend, Mary Pauline Wyka at Andrea’s Beauty Salon in Plaistow.

She was predeceased by her twin brother, Palmer Southworth Willard, her youngest brother William Leslie Willard and her older brother, John Bleveny Willard.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lorenzo and Wilfred Gagne, and one sister, Therese Garneau.
