Homosassa, FL — Mary R. Clark, 83, of Homosassa, Fla., passed away Thursday, June 20, at her residence, under the care of Hospice of Citrus County, Fla.
She was born in Peabody, Mass., on Aug 24, 1929, to the late Maurice and Mary C. (Reynolds) Lawlor. Mary was a region sales manager for the home products industry and arrived in the Homosassa area in 1976, coming from Plum Island, Mass. She attended St. Benedict Catholic Church in Crystal River, Fla.
Mary enjoyed entertaining family and friends, as well as playing bridge and many other cards games, and won!
Her memberships included Past President of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie No. 4272, and VFW Post No. 8189 of Homosassa; American Legion Post No. 2013, and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 1434, of Crystal River, Fla; and Elks Lodge No. 1409 of Peabody-Lynn, Mass.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. (William) Clark-Lucia; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Celebration of Life memorial service will be scheduled at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Crystal River, Fla., at a later date. Another service will be scheduled in the fall in Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Mary’s name go to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, Fla.
