Beloved wife of the late Edward F. Logan, Sr.; loving mother of Jennifer Miller and her husband, Steve, of Needham, Edward F. Logan, Jr. of New York City, Kathleen Logan-Harrod and wife, Bernadette Harrod of Orleans, Mary Kay Rourke formerly of Amesbury, and the late Ann Logan; grandmother of Nick and Sarah Miller of Needham, Sgt. Logan Rourke, U.S. Army and Mary Kate Rourke of Hawaii, Harrison and Mitchell Corthell of Maine and Taylor Logan-Harrod of Orleans; sister of George Walsh and his wife, Martha of Andover and the late Helen Nelson, Maribeth Fessenden and Kay Zimmerman; sister-in-law of George Fessenden of New Jersey and Ed Zimmerman of Colorado; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graduate of Boston College School of Nursing, class of 1955. She played for the BC Eagles Women’s Basketball team and held many leading roles in the school's theater productions. During her almost 50 years of nursing, Sally worked at Boston City Hospital, the Hebrew Rehab, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, provided private duty nursing care and as a City of Boston school nurse. ARRANGEMENTS: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph Church, 1360 Highland Ave, Needham on Friday, March 8 at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Interment is private.
