Seabrook, N.H. — Norman A. Souther III, 42, of Seabrook, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at his home. He was born January 16, 1970 in Newburyport, Mass. and was raised in Salisbury, Mass.
Norman attended Triton High School, Byfield, and Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, Haverhill. He earned his associate degree from Hesser College.
He started his career in telephone communications with New England Telephone/Verizon as a lineman, working with the successor companies for 17 years. Most recently, he was employed as a manager in the Manchester office with FairPoint Communications in charge of Emergency Response Communications.
He enjoyed first and foremost spending time with his family and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid N.A.S.C.A.R. racing fan.
He leaves his former wife and best friend, Wendy Souther of Seabrook; his son, Joshua Souther of Fla.; his daughter, Aleigh Souther and his step-son, Shawn Eaton both of Seabrook; his mother, Maureen E. (Mulligan) Bertrand of Salisbury; his father, Norman A. Souther Jr. and his wife Deborah Souther of Seabrook; three grandchildren; his brother, Brian S. Souther of Epping; three nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins and his nearly lifelong friend, Ronnie Cox.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Long Hill Cemetery, Salisbury, Mass. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
