Jeanne T. Titus, 83

Newton, NH — Jeanne Titus passed away peacefully on Tuesday at her home in Newton with her family at her side. She was born in Amesbury, Mass., and was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Cayer) Lagasse. She was the wife of the late Raymond Titus Jr., who passed away in 1996.

She attended Amesbury schools and was a graduate of A.H.S. She went on to work many years at Western Electric/Lucent as an assembler until her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards and her Friday lunches with her cousins and friends and loved sewing. She loved watching sports and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all of them.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Rae Boiselle of Haverhill, Mass., Carol Titus of Newton, N.H., Janet Tibbetts of Florida, and Paula Mortela of Newton, N.H.; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass for Jeanne will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Holy Family Parish Church, 2 School St., in Amesbury. Burial will follow in the Willow Grove Cemetery in Newton, N.H. A mercy meal will follow back at the Holy Family Parish Hall. Calling hours at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., in Amesbury are Monday, June 17, from 5 to 7 p.m.
