Dick Porter Stanley

Salisbury, MA — Dick Porter Stanley, 62, longtime Salisbury resident, died on Thursday afternoon, February 13, 2014, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of 34 years of Debera J. (Brown) Stanley.

Born in Newburyport on December 21, 1951, Dick was the son of the late Manuel R. and Ruth C. (Stanley) Stanley. He had attended Newburyport High School.

For many years, he had worked at Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport as a project floor man.

In addition to his wife, Debera, of Salisbury, he is survived by his three sons, Richard W. Stanley of Farmington, N.H., James S. Stanley of Rochester, N.H., and Daniel P. Stanley of Salisbury; his special nephew, Manuel R. Stanley of Haverhill; along with several grandchildren, all of whom loved him dearly and will miss him forever.

ARRANGEMENTS: Graveside services for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 11 a.m., at Union Cemetery, Amesbury. Arrangements by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.
