Merrimac — Brian P. Tinker, 46, of Merrimac and formerly of Somersworth, NH died Wednesday January 2, 2013.

Born October 8, 1966 in Rochester, N.H., the son of Richard and Margueritte (Gregoire) Tinker. He was a graduate of Somersworth, N.H. schools and was a longtime resident of Somersworth prior to moving here a couple of years ago.

Brian was a sensitive and intelligent person and enjoyed writing poetry and listening to music, he knew who all of the recording artists were and was a good Scrabble player. He was a former member of the N.H. National Guard.

He has been a longtime employee of C & J Trailways where he started as a driver and currently was the manager for the C & J Newburyport Terminal.

He is survived by his brother, John Tinker of Manchester, N.H.; his sister Linda Tinker of Dover, N.H. and aunts, uncles and cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday, January 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover, N.H.
