Seabrook, N.H. — Alta P. Wright, 91, of Seabrook, died suddenly on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Wright was born in Seabrook, August 25, 1921, the daughter of the late Jacob and Della (Eaton) Sargent.
Alta was a lifelong resident of Seabrook. She enjoyed many things, including tending to her flower gardens, but above all else Alta loved her family and taking care of them was the most important part of her life.
She shared nearly 67 years of marriage with her late husband, Charles B. Wright, Sr., who died in 2004. Family members include her three sons, Charles B. Wright, Jr. and his wife, Mary of Seabrook Beach, Robert F. Wright and his wife, Jodi of Seabrook and Richard A. Wright and his wife, Tammy of Cape Coral, FLA.; her two daughters, Grace D. Graves of Ipswich, and Lavinia A. Hill and her husband, Gene of Seabrook; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; her half-sister, Sandra Carey, of Fla. and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Dianne D. Beauvais and Alta Pearl Wright.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2013 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will follow the visitation, starting at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
