Harmony, ME — Donald A. Eaton, Sr., 85, of Harmony, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at his home.
He was born December 19, 1927 in Seabrook, NH a son of the late Joshua M. and Clara A. (Buzzell) Eaton.
He was a veteran serving with the US Army.
Mr. Eaton worked as a truck driver for the former Bailey Corporation for 23 years. He made his home in Seabrook until moving to Harmony in 1991. He was the best Dad and would do any and everything for his children.
He shared 64 years of marriage with his wife the late June M. (Randall) Eaton who predeceased him on September 11, 2012.
Family members include three children, Doneen Welch of Seabrook, Walter “Woodie” Eaton of Harmony, Shawnee M. Munroe and her husband Bruce, his sister, Amanda Lahait, his brother-in-law Marvin Dow and his wife Mildred all of Seabrook, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his son, Donald A. Eaton, Jr. in 1985.
ARRANGEMENTS: There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the Wildwood Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
