Carl E. Brown, 56

Groveland — Carl E. Brown, 56, of Groveland, passed away at his home, Monday, January 14, 2013 ,with his loving wife by his side.

Carl was born in Marblehead, on October 2, 1956 to the late, Lyle Brown and Helen (Long) Warner. Raised in Georgetown, Carl had a passion and uncanny knowledge for automobiles, turning that passion into a successful business. C.B. Restorations, located in Bradford, was featured in Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car Magazine for their exceptional restoration.

Carl leaves behind his wife, of 21 years, Laurie A. Brown, and two beautiful children, Nicole and Carl (Bud) whom he loved dearly. He also leaves behind sisters, Janet Burns and her husband, Jeff; Nancy Yorke and her husband, Charles, both of Georgetown; brother, Paul Brown and his wife, Donna of Ashburnham; and his brother and close friend, as well as business partner, David Knorr and his wife, Carolyn also of Georgetown. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends he considered family.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a memorial visitation, Saturday, January 19, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Merton E. Roberts, Jr. and Conte Funeral Homes, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. A member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1941, she attended the Fasio Beauty School and was a beautician in the Haverhill area for over 40 years. Her most recent employment was with her dear friend, Mary Pauline Wyka at Andrea’s Beauty Salon in Plaistow.

Pat, or Patsy as she was known then, was raised in Wethersfield and West Hartford. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Palmer Southworth Willard, her youngest brother William Leslie Willard and her older brother, John Bleveny Willard.

Buzzell Sr. of Merrimac, Mass.; two sisters, Adrienne Beaulieu and Helena Worthen, both of Amesbury, Mass.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lorenzo and Wilfred Gagne, and one sister, Therese Garneau.

He attended Lowell Technical School for a year before joining the General Electric Co., Lynn as a Planner for 47 years prior to his retirement 4 years ago.
