Kingston, N.H. — Juanita M. (Vazquez) Bergeron, 84, of Kingston, N.H., formerly of Georgetown, died Thursday evening, Jan. 17, at Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport. She was the wife of a Pearl Harbor survivor and U.S. Air Force career man, the late Paul H. Bergeron, who died May 16, 1996. Born in Boston, May 15, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Vazquez and had attended schools in Boston.
Juanita, a devoted wife, dedicated mother of nine children, and proud grandmother and great-grandmother, truly loved her family, including her parrots and dogs. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, golfing, fishing, traveling and the many years she wintered in Avon Park, Fla.
She is survived by her children, Priscilla McDaniels and husband, Butch, of Punta Gorda, Fla.; Rebecca A. LeRoy and husband, Peter, of Windham, N.H.; Diane M. Mondalto and husband, Michael, of Kingston, N.H.; William H. Bergeron and wife, Renee, of Kingston, N.H.; and Richard M. Bergeron; Ralph J. Bergeron and wife, Heidi, and Daniel E. Bergeron all of Haverhill; her son-in-law, Dennis Green of Bartow, Fla., along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dear friends. She was predeceased by two children, Patricia E. Green and Paul R. Bergeron.
ARRANGEMENTS: A graveside service for relatives and friends will be held Friday, Jan. 25, at 11:15 a.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. By request of the family, there will be no visiting hours. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury.
