Wenham — Wendy Shaw Curley passed away on January 19, 2013. Born to Minot (Mike) and Helen Winslow Shaw on July 15, 1939, she is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years Ed; her older brother Winslow Shaw, his wife Sally; and aunts, Elizabeth W. Loveday and Glenna W. Wallace. She leaves behind three loving sons, Michael, Ted, and John with fiancée, Maureen, and wives, Carrie and Sheri, respectively. Wendy was also very proud of her five grandchildren, Daniel, Erin, Jack, Aidan, and Mike, and loved her two nieces, Wendy Shaw Havens and Elizabeth Shaw.
Attending high school in Swampscott, Wendy was an accomplished athlete who lived to compete. After graduating from Colby Sawyer College and getting married, she used that same determination in raising a strong family. Over these years, she was a dedicated volunteer at the Hobbes House and Tea House in Wenham and also enjoyed traveling with her husband. Wendy's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends at their camp on Lake Winnipesaukee.
Above all things, Wendy dedicated her full energy (which was considerable) to the happiness, health, and success of her family. Relentlessly caring, she will be missed by all who knew her.
