Merrimac, MA — Theodore R. “Ted” Souliotis, Jr., age 55, of Merrimac, formerly of Amesbury, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 1, 2013. He was the husband of Jeannie (Spencer) Souliotis.
Born in Newburyport, December 19, 1957, he was the son of Joyce (Stillings) Souliotis of Salisbury and the late Theodore R. Souliotis, Sr., and had attended Haverhill Trade School. Ted was a welder by trade and took great pride in his work.
His love of fishing was surpassed only by his love of family, especially his four grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.
In addition to his mother and his wife, he is survived by his son, Jamie Souliotis and wife, Julie, of Merrimac; his daughter, Leah Souliotis of Hampton, N.H.; and his son, Joey Souliotis of Newmarket, N.H.; a brother, Rick Souliotis and wife, Paula, of Salisbury; four sisters, Bonnie Miner and husband, Paul, of Stratham, N.H., Pam Oliveira of Salisbury, Cheryl Kirkpatrick and husband, Scott, of Newburyport, and Stacy Vater and husband, John, of Amesbury; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Paige, Lily and Isabella; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. His sudden passing has left a tremendous void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
ARRANGEMENTS: A graveside service will be held Wednesday morning, May 8, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Long Hill Cemetery, Salisbury. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.
