Andover, MA — Terry Sue Fowler passed away on May 14, 2013, peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, Mass., in the presence of her loving family. Born in Newburyport, Mass., September 24, 1962, she was the beloved daughter of the late Donald C. Fowler Sr. of Newburyport and Betty A. (Janvrin) Fowler of Rowley, Mass.
Terry resided in Andover, Mass., for the last several years. She was employed at American Training in Lawrence, Mass. Though blind and mentally challenged, Terry thrived in her environment with many friends and staff. Terry adored music, especially Michael Jackson. She also loved playing the piano, swimming, attending Friday night dances and singing church hymns. Most of all she loved being with family and enjoying meals together with no shortage of laughter. Terry's quirky personality and unique style of communication surely touched all who crossed paths with her. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. In the bitterness of grief's soil grows the rarest and most stunning flower.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Fowler; sisters, Jody Desmond and her husband, Robert, Raelene Murphy, Cindy Fowler, Kathy Belanger; and brother, Donald Fowler Jr., all of Amesbury, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Terry Fowler's memory to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
