William W. Angelos

Newburyport, MA — William W. Angelos, age 69, died unexpectedly at his home in Newburyport, Saturday evening, May 18, 2013.

He was born in Lynn, April 26, 1944, son of the late William and Constance (Kosmos) Angelos, and was a graduate of Lynn English High School and Franklin Institute in Boston, receiving an Associates Degree. Bill had worked as a mechanical design engineer for U. S. Wind Power of Burlington and Magnetic Power of Waltham.

He was a member of Bethlehem Lodge, A.F. & A.M., of Lynn as well as St. Mark’s Lodge, A.F. & A.M., of Newburyport.

Bill loved cats and was especially fond of his cat, Midnight, who meant the world to him.

Predeceased by his parents and having been an only child, he is survived by several dear friends, including Andrew Kafalas and wife Annette, of Newburyport.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 8 Lafayette Road, Ipswich, followed by interment in West Lawn Cemetery, Lowell. Masonic services will be held Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport, followed by visitation until 8 p.m.
