Pompano Beach, FL — Harold J. Greene of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Georgetown, Mass., passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23. Harold was a graduate of Bentley College and a longtime employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where he held many different positions. He served in the State House under Gov. Francis Sargent, and retired as the Department of Conservation and Recreation Deputy Commissioner in 1986.
Harold is survived by his children, Ann Bourque and her husband, David, of Newton, N.H., Walter Greene of Groveland, Mass., Beth-Ellen Greene of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Amy Greene Arlington and her husband, Brian, of Groveland; and four grandchildren, Nikolle Ard of Arizona, Daniel Bourque of Salt Lake City, Utah, Tim Bourque of Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Rachel Bourque of Newton, N.H. Harold was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Walda-Ann Greene; and daughter, Kristine Greene Tidwell.
