Joseph Romonoski Jr., 67


Salisbury — Joseph Romonoski Jr., passed away on Tuesday evening at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill after a short illness with his family at his side. He was born in Amesbury and was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Phyllis (Cebula) Romonoski.

He grew up and attended schools in Amesbury and was a graduate of A.H.S. He worked many years in concrete and until his retirement, was proprietor of Romco Construction. He enjoyed motorcycles and loved going for rides on his Harley. He enjoyed playing Keno, loved his cat named "Kitty", and loved hanging around with friends at Michelle's Coffee Shop in Salisbury Square. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Romonoski of Seabrook, N.H.; two sons, Joseph Romonoski III of Seabrook, N.H. and Richard Romonoski of Berwick, Maine; one sister, Mary Ann Baker of Seabrook, N,H., and many grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Tara Romonoski and brother of the late Sally Nyman.

ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours and celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 5, from 5-7 p.m. at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., in Amesbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
