Seabrook, NH — Mary I. Perkins, 89, of Seabrook, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.
A lifelong resident, she was born here March 7, 1924, a daughter of the late Charles S. and Liona (Eaton) Eaton.
Mary worked for Souther Shellfish in Seabrook for 35 years retiring in 1994. She enjoyed Bingo and playing cards.
She was the wife of the late Ernest N. “Buster” Perkins who died in 2006.
Family members include her daughter, Bernice M. Souriolle of Seabrook, her son, Ernest Perkins, Jr. of St. Louis, MO, two brothers, Ivan Q. Eaton, Sr., and his wife Joann, Thomas H. Eaton and his wife Gail, her sister, Emily Blanchard, her stepdaughter, Ramona Gallagher all of Seabrook, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Currier, five brothers, Frank, Charles, George, Calvin and Alick Eaton and two stepdaughters, Florence Souther and Norma Frost.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2013, at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A calling hour will be held prior to the service on Friday from 12 Noon to 1 P.M. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. After cremation, burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook.
