Clifford Allen, 68

Tampa, FL — Clifford “Cliff” Peter Allen, 68, of Massachusetts and Andover, England, died unexpectedly March 3, 2014, as a result of injuries sustained in a fall earlier that day.

He was born in April 1, 1945, in Newburyport, Mass., to Herman E. and Barbara (Currier) Allen. He was a graduate of Newburyport High School, Class of 1964. He was active in softball and the Rotary Clubs of Westford and Andover, England.

Cliff enjoyed his retirement travelling the country in his RVs, often spending winters in Florida and summers in Colorado. He stayed active and enjoyed playing bridge. He was very competitive and was never one to turn down a game of cribbage or croquet. He was a lifelong Red Sox and Patriots fan, loved cars, his RVs, racing, country music and ABBA.

Cliff loved to be of assistance to others and was always ready to lend a hand, no matter how big or small the project. He had a good sense of humor and was able to laugh at himself.
