Epping, NH — Alberta “Bert” Louise Dow, 68, of Pine & Pond Park in Epping, N.H., died at her home on March 15, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 7, 1945, in Lawrence, Mass., the daughter of the late Albert and Edna (Rouff) Frost. A resident of Epping for the last five years, she grew up on Plum Island in Newburyport, Mass., and formerly resided in North Carolina, Lee, N.H., and Barrington, N.H. She loved craft making and enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo, and was a fan of NASCAR racing.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Arnold “Bob” Dow of Epping, N.H.; two sons, Steven Frost of Florida and Alan Tilbe of Rochester, N.H.; seven brothers, Charlie, Richard, Al, Robert, Ray, Jack, and Dave Frost; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Donnie Tilbe, and her sister, Mazie Andersen.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
