Groveland, MA — Kody Dean Littrell of Groveland lost his light suddenly on November 7, 2013. He was born in Lexington, Ky., 26 years ago, on April 24, 1987. He gave the miracle of life to others through organ donation as his last act of giving. He was one of his family’s miracles who we will forever miss. He loved the ocean, or any water that he could swim in. One of his biggest joys was being around animals. His profession as a “tree guy” allowed him to enjoy nature and the outdoors (except when it was raining).
His kind soul leaves behind his mother, Janice (Schornberg) Littrell and father, K. Richard Littrell of Groveland; brother, Kyle R. Littrell and his fiancée, Kim Underdonk of Lexington; aunts Carol Stokes, Jean Stewart, Sherry Reynolds, Denise Smith, Terry Schornberg, and Gay Armstrong; uncles, J.D. Littrell, Stan Stewart, Wendell Reynolds, Lloyd Smith, and Harry Schornberg Jr.; and cousins, friends, and neighbors.
ARRANGEMENTS: Kody's memorial service will be on Sunday, November 10, from 3 to 4 p.m., at the Groveland Congregational Church at United Church of Christ, 4 King Street, Groveland, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kody’s name may be made to New England Donor Bank at www.neob.org, or MSPCA at www.mspca.org.
