Seabrook, N.H. — Ronald R. Johnston, 67, of Seabrook, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at his home. He was born in Boston, July 5, 1945, a son of the late Frederick and Ruth (Johnson) Johnston.
Ron was raised in West Newbury, and graduated from Pentucket Regional High School. He attended Boston University. He owned and operated many businesses in New England and the Southeast most notably Depot Distributors where he served as president and CEO from 1970 thru the 1990’s. He moved to Seabrook in 2001 which he loved and found everyone he met to be warm and friendly.
Family members include his wife, Deborah (Cote) Johnston of Seabrook; three sons, Scott Johnston and wife, Michelle of High Point, N.C., Christopher Johnston and wife, Allison of Shrewsbury, Kevin Johnston and wife, Kimberly of Topsfield; seven grandchildren; his stepdaughter, Kristin Holtz and fiancé, James Fuller of Hampton; three brothers, Frederick Johnston and wife, Christine of Massachusetts, Paul Johnston and wife, Jacqueline of West Newbury, Kevin Johnston and wife, Linda of Brentwood; his sister, Mary Bartley of Bradford; several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 21, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. The family suggests donations to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
