Letter: I want to know

To the editor:
As I watch the candidates endure the far-too-long political process to become our next president (anyone would be better than our current hero), I want to know: How the heck do they endure the day-in, day-out fast foods and handshakes which they must all detest by now?
I want to know why Bill Richardson or Duncan Hunter entered the race in the first place. My view - to become appointed a cabinet member. Did they actually feel they could win?
I want to know why Fred Thompson, formerly D. Arthur Branch on "Law & Order" television was regarded by Repubs as the second coming of Ron Reagan?
I mean ... Why couldn't a savvy staffer tell Fred that he was in a coma? The chair on his porch has more personality.
Does Mike Huckabee actually have a chance? My view - nice man but no Mike. We are all saddened.
Why does Mitt still flip-flop on a new issue in every state? He was a horrible governor but he lies all too often. Mitt is phony.
Billary: The team of Bill and Hill have an advantage as they use their name to try to take the prize. Bill, with his skill, drops offensive insults each day then blames the others for attacks on Hill. My view - Bill is an attack dog.
Who is Ron Paul? Why don't folks like Joe Biden? Is Denny Kucinich a real man? I mean, these people are all actors on a different rich planet.
The process is too long, the debates are fun, but let's get a new system for the next cycle.
The burning question we all must ask is, "Who can help Brit Spears and get her away from kids or autos? Who will help Dr. Phil?
These are things I want to know, but you know what folks? None of the actors care about us and the fat cats will be the eventual winners. Nothing has changed.
