Block Party a success

To the editor:

Amesbury's 11th Annual Block Party on June 24 was an outstanding success for three major reasons: 1) countless hours of planning and coordination by volunteers; 2) generosity of business and individual sponsors who donated money, products and their valuable time; and 3) community participation, as people gathered to enjoy the traditional Amesbury Days celebration and ultimately support our community. All event proceeds benefit the Amesbury Beautification Program through the Alliance Charitable Foundation, Inc.

The Amesbury Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Foundation event organizers extend our deepest appreciation to everyone who participated.
