Thanks to sponsors, supporters for fishing trip

To the editor:

The 101st Airborne Division wishes to thank the Kelly Auto Group of Danvers; Newburyport Veterans Service officer Kevin Hunt; Cmdr. Robert Worobey, U.S. Coast Guard; Paul Hogg Newburyport harbormaster; and last, but not least, Donna Simard of Simard’s Restaurant, Rowley, for the wonderful food she provided.

This fishing trip, held on Tuesday, July 9, was our second annual fishing trip for area veterans and homeless veterans from Boston. I am proud to be a resident of Newburyport, a wonderful city that honors the sacrifices of the men and women who have given so much.

Dick Kelley of Beverly and I, coordinators for Special Events MA, want to say thank-you to all who made this event possible.
