Thanks for donating to 'Just Cool It'

To the editor:

On behalf of The Actors Studio of Newburyport, I am writing to acknowledge the generous response to our recent “Just Cool It” campaign. Every individual and member of the business community who made a donation helped us realize our goal of installing a state-of-the-art, silent heating and cooling system. This system, along with the new, comfortable chairs we installed recently, has dramatically (pun intended) increased the comfort level of The Studio for our audience members.

Those in the business community who contributed to our “Just Cool It” campaign include Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Drs. Colden & Seymour, Dr. Douglas Shealy, the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank, the Institution for Savings, The Provident Bank, Nunan Florist and Greenhouses, Matter Communications, Mark Richey Woodworking & Design, Donna Michael’s Carpet, Hall & Moskow, Oregano Pizzeria, Inn Street Barbershop, Riley & Associates and Richard Booth, Boothlaw, LLC.

Finally, a matching grant from The Friendship Foundation enabled us to reach our goal more quickly than might otherwise have been the case. We are extremely grateful to all.

Please visit us at www.newburyportacting.org to see our upcoming productions and join us in our wonderful, comfortable black box theater.
