A good report for foreign language students

To the editor:

The foreign language teachers and students at Triton Regional Middle School are enjoying a very busy second semester. The seventh- and eighth-grade students have extended their learning beyond the classroom by participating in the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association poster, essay and podcast contests. The 2013 theme is “Collaborate to Promote Languages with a Collective Voice.” Our poster entries were submitted by Kayla Bastolla, Apphia Donoghue, Elisabeth Odoy, Hannah Reilly and Danielle West. The essays by authors Abigail Pike, Schuyler Cummings and Hannah Burd were selected for submission.
