Thanks for help with flu clinics

To the editor:

Thank you to our volunteers. The Amesbury/Salisbury Regional Health Department conducted two successful flu clinics in both communities on Oct. 25 and Nov. 1. The clinics were successful because of our volunteers who help to make it happen.

On behalf of the City of Amesbury and the Town of Salisbury I would like to say thank-you to: Lea Poulin, RN; Harborside Healthcare/Maplewood Amesbury, Miyuki Oshita, RN, Laurie Pierce, Karen Dery, Marina Polcaro, Valerie Enos, Jean Bruce Little, RN; Amesbury Village, Laurie Pierce, Dan Souliotis, EMT, Cheryl Papandrea, Board of Health chairperson, and Joanne Housianitis, Board of Health vice chair. Without your dedication and volunteerism, the clinics would not be successful.

Jack Morris

Director of Public Health
