Amesbury studio tour a great success

To the editor:

The Amesbury Cultural Council would like to thank everyone who helped to make this year’s studio tour a success. With many artists participating, this was a wonderful weekend event. Music, cookie decorating, caricatures and wonderful tables were also part of our weekend festival. Beautiful weather added to the success of this weekend! It was a wonderful turnout supporting our arts community.

The council would like to thank all members of the community who visited the artist studios and supported the arts by purchasing artwork. We thank the artists and volunteers, the media supporters, as well as the local businesses.

Special thanks to Katie Lovett at The Daily News, Carol Feingold at the Amesbury News and the Town Common. A very big thank-you to AndyMan Bakery for supplying delicious refreshments. And another big thank-you to Whole Music. Special thanks to Katie Lovett and Carol Feingold from the local newspapers for excellent and superb coverage!

Many Amesbury businesses and artists contributed items as raffle gifts and these were warmly received. Thank you to the following:

Flatbread Company, Maggie Sundae, Phat Cats Bistro, Riverwalk Bead Shop and Gallery, Bertram and Oliver Booksellers, Face to Face, Ovedia, Wild Garlic, AndyMan, StillWaters, Cherry Bomb, Crafter’s Quarters, Stop & Shop, The Picket, Whole Music.
