Officials right to call for N-plant shutdown

Because they are the type of legislators who will relentlessly fight for public safety, they carefully reviewed the evidence and attended NRC meetings before they decided that the time has come to call for a plant shutdown.

As far as No More Fukushimas is concerned, in O’Connor Ives and in Costello we have the best state representatives that of any district in Massachusetts. Katy and Mike are true friends of their constituents.

We urge them to run for re-election. Unlike some, they did not look over their shoulders to see which way the wind was blowing on the safety of their constituents. There are 59,000 people who live within the 10-mile radius of the Seabrook plant and most of them fall within their districts. We need them now and we need them later.

We thank them for standing up for us against NextEra and the NRC rubber stamp; for having our backs!
