Praise for team that answered 911 call

To the editor:

This is to thank you so very, very much, to the professional unit called “911.” A few weeks ago I had to call on them for help.

My wife had just taken a bad spill and was lying on the floor screaming helpless nearby and was in great agony. We called 911 and a unit came within minutes to help. They immediately saw what the problem was, what they had to do, and did it very professionally. What a great team they were. They took her to the hospital immediately.

The City of Newburyport is very, very fortunate to have at their disposal such a wonderful and efficient organization as the 911 team. How can I ever thank them enough, impossible. I regret not thanking them publicly for the completely wonderful unit they are. This city is in excellent good hands and we are very, very lucky. If there is a chance to help them, you can be sure my family and I will be surely there. Thank you very, very much.
