Let's all pitch in to help the homeless

To the editor:

In the Jan. 30 edition of The Daily News, I just read there were 12 homeless people in Newburyport. I can’t imagine how life must be for these people. If everyone in Newburyport gave $1, the 12 would have $17,000 or $1,416 each. I would imagine that would make a difference. There must be a charity fund that gathers money for the homeless. Maybe The Daily News could tell us where that is. I’d be pleased to start it with $100.
