Is there any ‘good' heroin?

To the editor:

Re the article “bad heroin” leaving its mark (Jan. 31). Honestly, is there such a thing as “good” heroin? Illicit drugs are not manufactured in FDA-inspected, OSHA-certified laboratories or factories.

They are made by criminals, in unhygienic (to say the least) conditions, and created or cut with anything up to and including toxic substances.

End of story.
