Compliments to Salisbury DPW

To the editor:

We are writing this letter to compliment Salisbury DPW Director Don Levesque and his crews for clearing the frozen, slushy mess that was left behind on Carter Avenue, 11th and 12th streets after the recent storm tide.

He and his crews, using heavy equipment, spent hours in the dark and freezing weather, clearing the streets in the area before they had a chance to freeze over and become impassable. We have lived here for 24 years and we have experienced many storms and tides, but this storm brought the worst marsh flooding we have seen.

To Don and his crews: Thank you for a job well done; we really appreciate the work that you do.

Jim and Winnie Reusch
