Vote no on June 5

To the editor:

The bottom line is this:

Taxes only go up, they never go down.

The schools should be renovated, but the city coffers should be paying and not a penny more should be asked by the taxpayers.

The Bresnahan Fields will be destroyed. Gone forever.

New Bresnahan School will have a bathroom in every classroom.

Our city will be in debt for another 20 years.

Look at the taxes being collected. Check your utility bills, property taxes, excise taxes, income taxes, personal property taxes, etc. ... tax on everything! What is being done with our money? Question it!

The state reimbursement is our own money coming back to us and it should — without any stipulations. But we can't use it unless we build new! It can't be used to renovate.

Go to the polls on June 5. Your vote matters! Recently, many issues and laws have passed because voter turnout is so low. Be there on June 5.
