Recent events show Amesbury's spirit, generosity

The Halloween fun continued back at the amphitheater, where Mayor Thatcher Kezer had the honor of picking the winning pumpkin — carved with a Boston Red Sox theme — in our first annual pumpkin-decorating contest that had 25 imaginative entries. As the contest sponsor, Amesbury Flatbread Company generously donated pumpkins to the community earlier in October and invited everyone into the restaurant for free pizza after the judging. It was the perfect way to end a great evening!

Having the support of so many generous businesses and people makes my job much easier. Thank you, Amesbury!
