Pennies for Poverty would like to thank Flatbread Pizza Company in Amesbury for hosting the Eat So Others Can Eat Fundraiser for Pennies For Poverty on Tuesday, March 25. Proceeds from this fundraiser helped support Our Neighbors’ Table, Community Action and Best Foot Forward in Amesbury and other anti-poverty agencies in the Greater Newburyport Area. We greatly appreciate Flatbread’s commitment to the community and donation of a portion of the price from each pizza sold during the fundraiser.

Pennies for Poverty’s mission is to reduce poverty and alleviate its devastating impact on individuals and families in the Greater Newburyport Area. We raise funds to address urgent needs at local anti-poverty agencies.
We educate about poverty, organize food drives, provide farm fresh produce and fresh fish to local food pantries and support the local economy. With no paid staff or related expenses, the full amount of tax-deductible donations goes to fill the most urgent and important needs.
