Thanks for not forgetting us

To the editor:

I am a native of Newburyport and have fond memories of spending my summers at Plum Island. I now live in Ocean County, N.J., which was an area hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy. I am sure that I speak for all the residents here in thanking Mike Keenan and all the people who have donated to the Jersey Shore and Long Island. The situation here is still critical and it is gratifying to see that we have not been forgotten.
