Congdon always treats animals well

To the editor:

With the rigamarole surrounding Salisbury animal control officer Harold Congdon, I would just like to say I have been down to his privately owned animal kennels numerous times for other non-related business with the other businesses within the compound and in fact, I have a very large affinity to all animals. I have always taken the time to approach the kennels to see who is available “to scratch behind the ears”! In all the years I’ve been there, the kennels were clean, food and water in bowls along with proper blankets, etc. for bedding. Furthermore, I have seen Mr. Congdon’s interactions with both the animals and the public. He is both kind (its facility has brought numerous animals owned by the public into his private home) to all animals. And he is considerate to all people I’ve seen him interact with.

I concede as per Town Manager Neil Harrington’s quote, “Harold is quite a character.” But never even remotely negligible to animals.

In closing, objectivity in reporting was not observed by Fox TV channel, in my opinion.
