Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your contributions to the 2013 New England Law Enforcement United Metric Century charity fundraising bicycle ride. The event was a huge success, in large part, due to your support.
We had a record turnout this year of 110 riders and without the assistance you provided with advertising, we surely would not have realized this achievement. This was the third consecutive year for this ride and we look forward to putting it on annually in the years to come. With support like yours, we will be able to continue to memorialize the sacrifices of officers killed in the line of duty and, hopefully, aid even more families in coping with their loss as well as transitioning into a life without them.
We would be remiss if we did not also recognize the incredible support shown by the local police departments during coordination efforts as well as aiding with safety precautions as participants rode through their towns. We give our deep gratitude to the police departments of Amesbury, Newton, Kingston, East Kingston, Newfields, Kensington, Hampton, Hampton Falls, North Hampton, South Hampton, Stratham and, of course, Greenland.
Last, but certainly far from least, our wonderfully generous donors who committed funding, time and support this year as well as previous years. Without our donors we could not put on this event. Thank you to the Heritage Towers and Vale Residents Association’s support — we really appreciate it! We hope that Bassett Landscaping Inc., The Amesbury Sports Park, Exeter Cycles, Amesbury Skate and Sport, B&B Alarm and Mountain Top Landscaping all receive our genuine, wholehearted thanks for the amazing show of support.
