Heartwarming obituary helped in time of sorrow

To the editor:

I just read the most beautiful, heartwarming obituary in the April 2 newspaper regarding Nevena Ann Topic. The reason I feel so compelled to write this is because my beautiful 58-year-old sister, Leonora, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep early on April 1. She wasn’t sick at all; maybe God just needed another angel to help out.

I just wanted Ms. Topic’s family to know how much they have helped me at this devastating time. Their sentiments mirror mine and have helped me make a little more sense of things. I also feel that we are put on earth with a job to do. Some people just accomplish their task earlier than others.

Thank you to the Topic family and may God bless you and yours.
