Political signs placed without consent

Newburyport Daily News

---- — To the editor:

As to these incredulous, wannabe, desirous to be potentate politicians, I ask: What gives them the right to place their signs upon my, my friends’ or the town’s property without securing our consent or acknowledgment prior to doing such?

I am particularly aggrieved with a Mr. Tom Saab, currently running for Salisbury Beach — oh, excuse me — Salisbury town selectman. Mr. Saab should do the thing for the citizenry he is so ardently trying to curry favor with in his glorious attempt to get elected to the position of selectman. That is to please not use his abilities as real estate salesman to research the out-of-town owners or town-owned commercial properties and place his signs upon them, unbeknownst to the out-of-town owners, including me, or without the consent of present town officials. It is both counter-intuitive and disingenuous to the voters he so resolutely covets.

By the way, how many Salisbury voters live on Route 286 in Seabrook where so many of his signs are placed? I look forward to meet the candidates night in Salisbury.
