The ultimate Father's Day gift

To the editor:

One side impact

Three rollovers

35 head stitches

Lots of embedded glass

Ambulance ride

One night at the AJ’s emergency room

Two stiff necks

Many bumps and bruises

Mental trauma

But most of all, we have our son and grandson.

The Roberts family would like to thank the many people who helped our son and grandson that horrible Father’s Day night. The fire department, EMTs, police department, emergency room doctors and the many people from the baseball family, all of whom are special to my son.

Thank you, everybody, for your prayers, thoughts, cards and food. Your support was beyond words.

Thank you, guardian angels and seat belts. They lived.

Ken and Diane Roberts
