To the editor:
David Johnson’s recent article (”In the marsh, ticks are ever vigilant,” June 28) sharing his experience with a deer tick was interesting, entertaining and highly informative. It is such a delight to read an article that had a beginning, a middle and an end, and in between was just chock-full of facts and remarkably well-constructed sentences.
Well, I expect David is well-educated, and has a depth of experience on the job as a scientist, but I was much impressed at how he conveyed so detailed a life history of the black-legged tick in such an animated and fascinating a manner.
My congratulations to David on a job exceedingly well done, and to The Daily News for printing an article so timely and well written.
