Thanks for taking part in Chamber lunch

To the editor:

Please accept this letter to thank our elected officials for participating in the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce Annual Legislative Lunch, held on April 11. U.S. Rep. John Tierney, state Sen. Kathleen O’Connor Ives, state Rep. Michael Costello and Amesbury Mayor Ken Gray all addressed topics of wide interest, such as Amesbury’s Tax Increment Financing program and rail trail, both of which are expected to see great progress in the coming year.

Event guests were further treated to outstanding food and customer service provided by Ristorante Molise.

Thank you to Antonietta, Elissa and their attentive team for always exceeding our expectations. We are also grateful for the generous support of event sponsor National Grid, which reduced event costs for the Chamber and our guests.

To hear more about what’s happening in Amesbury, consider attending our next event, the Good News Breakfast Salute, on Friday, May 16, at Flatbread Company.
