Why we're voting for Eileen Duff

To the Editor:

We will be voting for Eileen Duff for Governor’s Council and urge others to do the same.

Eileen Duff is running for the Governor’s Council to insure a level playing field for all judicial applicants, and fair trials for ordinary citizens. Eileen has a background in consensus building and public policy. This combination we feel is much needed at this time to achieve a common sense balance in reviewing judicial appointments. She has served both in Washington and also in the private sector where she has experience as an entrepreneur and business leader.

With family in law enforcement, she fully understands the dangers officers face in our district, and she has the knowledge and experience needed to make sure they are fully protected.

Eileen is not a lawyer and would come to the Governor’s council with the ability to be completely impartial. She’ll have nothing personal to gain by backing any particular appointment. Yet she’ll be able to put her expertise to work for working citizens.

On Tuesday Nov. 6, please vote for Eileen Duff for Governor’s Council.
